What a wonderful cafe. Coffee and food, both amazing. So friendly and accommodating. Thank you!
The soft cruisy music is so relaxing. Atmosphere is a great start to our day.
Will definitely come again on our next visit to Christchurch. It is worth finding a park.
Delightful atmosphere, lovely customer, service, and creative food options make this quite a find of a coffee shop. We really enjoyed the coffee and food options found here and we’re happy to be in an Airbnb right next-door so we could come back again and again.
Great little cafe just a short walk from the Rydges hotel u stayed at.
Nice coffee and great breakfast. I had the eggs Benedict which is my go to and it was great.
Very nice and friendly service also
This is our cafe away from home. We’ve been coming here for years and they never fail to please. Fantastic coffee, food and service. That’s their big breakfast and the waffles. The waffles were amazing!
Fantastic. Great atmosphere. The food was impeccable. Fresh, options for everyone. The lady who served us was so friendly. The details were all there, right down to the fact that they were playing ambient music over the sound system instead of whatever is in the Top 20 or something the kitchen staff likes to listen to. Absolutely no complaints. Will come again next time we're in Christchurch for sure.
First time at Table at Monks and we had a lovely experience. The food was very delicious - we ordered the Ottoman Eggs, Eggs Benedict, and Prawn Linguine - Friendly and Attentive service as well. Love the atmosphere too.
Highly recommended!

I was just walking down the street and randomly came across this cafe. It felt like I found a hidden gem. The waffle was super fresh, especially the lemon ricotta cream was so good. The coffee was spot on too. The cabinet desserts looked amazing! I might have to go back and try one next time.
